A CSR at the Pen Center informed me what to do, and it worked!
First I am referring to the Digital Phone Internet Modem (it plugs into the computer and phone service).
You need a paper clip!
pull on paper clip to make a portion of it straight 1.5 inches of wire is required.
look on the back right side of the modem.
The power cord is on the right, the phone jack on the left and in between is a little hole.
This hole is located under a bigger hole that has a connector in it.
Use the hole that is closest to the bottom (nothing in it).
Unplug the modem
Put the paper clip in the hole and press on the inside button and hold it there.
Keep holding the paper clip in this spot while plugging the modem back in.
Keep the paper clip in there and watch the green lights.
When all 8 green lights come on then release the paper clip.
Everything should be working, tel 1 and tel 2 should be solid green lights.
If still not working, do this again.
It should solve your telephone outage problem!
